2007-2008 Grants & Awards
|
The awards committee of Central California Alliance is now seeking project proposals for our 2007-2008 awards. We are seeking projects which promote positive change, equal rights, access and opportunity for the GLBT+ community.
In previous years, awards have gone to organizations to buy books for libraries, underwrite film festivals, social events for youth, educational forums and public health projects. Awards are generally in the neighborhood of $300 to $800. This year our target goal for fundraising is $5000, which would allow us to give out more awards than we have in recent years. Deadline for submission is November 30th, 2007.
